Here are a couple of items that I started carrying in my camera bag that makes life easier. They are Off! Deep Woods Towelettes and germ-X Soft wipes.
I usually apply aerosol insect repellent before I leave the house if I am going to the swamp, the woods, or other areas where I know that I will encounter mosquitos. However, I often get attacked by mosquitos in other areas like ball parks and back yards where I didn't expect mosquitos. The repellent towelettes are lightweight and take up hardly in space in my camera bag. I don't have to worry about an aerosol can or bottle leaking on my expensive camera equipment when I pack these towelettes.
I purchased these at Dick's Sporting Goods
I often take pictures at fairs and festivals and get the food that I eat on my hands which will often end up on my camera. These large (6" X 8") soft wipes are great to clean your hands before and after you eat. They are also handy to remove mud off of your hands if you do a lot of wildlife photography near lakes and bayous. I purchased these at Sam's Club
